just down lloaded some free terrains but cant seem to load them into the library. clicked the import button, navigate to the file - no preview - no load any help please, thanks

Are they .obp files? That and Bryce 2 .obj file are the only thing that can be imported through the create library. ( i think )

Go to "Edit" then open the mats library, then click "Import" button on the bottom of the menu, once you open, find the folder, "Materials", then "User"(Make sure it is "User" folder, it wont work if it's the "Installed" folder) and then find the Mat file and open, then it should automatically load into your library with a small thumbnail preview!!!:-) (Same Goes for Sky's and Object Files that are .obp, in their individual respective folders as "User") Hope this Helps Art

thanks guys on checking the propertiies box bryce 4 material preset then the readme sais created in B5 so i presume this is the cause of the conflict this is what happens once you start dealing with second hand terrain material dealers
