Great idea, it would actually work, only now her shoes wouldn't fit! That is how SMMV and SMD and Pin-up Stephanie (but not SMV) do it, only I had to do major adjustment on the joint parameters, and they take a different kind of shoe, Vickie's heels (except mine, which are done my magic) are also made flatfoot. Oh, there is an answer too, buy any of the ones I mentioned!
Hi, I find that the easiest way to fix the high heel problem when walking is to move the curve in the Animation Palette. Use the Bend dial on the first frame to set the foot right to see how many degrees it must be bent, normally it is around 30 degrees. Set it back to what it was. Then in Animation palette, follow these steps: 1-Select the foot 2-Select the Bend curve 3-Select the complete animation: make sure you see it all by fully extending the bottom bar. Then click anywhere in the graph, and drag the mouse to, say the right end of the graph. This will highlight that portion. Then shift-click anywhere in the highlighted area and drag the mouse all the way to the left - the whole graph is highlighted/ 3-Move the Bend curve up by the number of degrees required. For this, you CTRL-click (the cursor then changes to 2 vertical bars) and drag the whole graph up or down. If your character is wearing boots, it is a lot easier if you hide the feet and toes. does anyone know of anyway to make a figure that has high heal boots on walk using the walk designer? she walks flat foot by default. and i'd rather not go in and keyframe the whole walk cycle..
