I don't want to be non-supportive, but. . it looks more like poserholics upset because Daz or Renderosity is offline. On the other hand, that's pretty close to hell.:) Emily

And maybe add some burns or other disfiguring wounds to the texture maps. I like the expression on the face of the woman in the back to the right, the hopeless one. Personally, I'd try to go for looks that... well, let's put it this way. It's incredibly dangerous to rescue a person who is drowning, because they're so panicked and so desperate to get to the surface for air that they'll pull you down with them trying to get up. It'd be great to pull that sort of look off with this bunch, but it'd be hard to do. Of course, that's a stylistic thing.

Oh, maybe turn down the lights, go for dramatic spots glinting-- that red thing never convinces me of Hell, while despair-- as you say, does. Hell, is after all also ice. I'd add fog in PS but that's me. What you can barely see, is often more scarey. That's a heck of a lot of people on onscreen, terrific job. And great expressions. Emily

Steve, it's a good start and some of the suggestions are great. Sometimes, doing a little research for inspiration can do wonders. John Singer Sargent, one of my favorite painters, did a series of murals for the Boston Public Library. I had no idea till I went looking for some images for you, so thanks. This is one of his pieces, Triumph of Religion, which shows a vision of Hell. It's all of matter of what you think Hell is. There are very classic images and descriptions. Of course, there's Dante's Inferno. Good luck with your image. Cris
