I know absolutly nothing about creating chatacters, but i'd to see a female-character which have separate breasts, You know when you change like size and hi-nipple and so on, it happens on both of them. Can't someone experianced make a character with separate breasts?

c1rcle ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 3:37 AM

no need, they're called victoria and more recently stephanie. Rob

Victoria and Stephanie can be found at DAZ-3D. Michael is there too.

All the Eve type characters have seperate boobie controls too. And they're free! H:)

They do everything but rotate the tassels in different directions... we don't have a tassel prop.

Sue88 ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 7:50 AM

LOL! Did you you see the "Whose Line is it?" episode where Colin had to figure out what was going on "behind him" and it was an old film of a woman rotating those tassels in different directions? :-D

I hate to have to plug my own stuff, ;-) but Pin-up Stephanie aside from having a nice shape actually has (seperate) breast parts in the CR2, you can bend 'em up and down and whatever, it is done as a actual jointed part, not with morphs. One advantage of this is a conformed item of clothing will automatically match any bending, but not scaling. My clothing for her will have the matching parts, of course. I was thinking about doing an animated GIF demo of this with her spinning the tassles around (in opposite rotations, of course), but I thought that would be a little over the top!

ronknights ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 8:32 AM

Please go over the top!

Spin those tassles

billyccc - Morphs and Magnets are 3D Model(Mesh) deformers! They can change the shape of any body part they were designed to. You can make these yourself with Poser 4 and its magnet tool, and then export your handy work for other people to enjoy! http://www.3d-cc.com has a set of breast morphs, by wymaster, on one of it's misc. pages. They are a magnet setup that is very difficult to use, but I've seen some really sweet work done with them. = )

cainbrogan ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 10:25 AM

Another think you want to know of is a free program called Morph Manager. With it you can share morph targets between two characters. Anybody that has had much experience with a couple characters that have many moprhs knows this application is a huge time saver. You want to get into the habbit of collecting freebie figures that you find attractive, and then compliling all of thier morphs into your own master. Again, http;//www.3d-cc.com is the perfect place to start this, there you will even find a copy of Morph Manager in the misc. section. As someone is bound to be clever enough to regergitate right in front of you, each of the many freebie characters, available for throughout the net for planetary consumption, comes with a small ReadMe that highlites what the characters origional creator wishes to be, or not to be done with the character. I learned in an art class, at my local state college, that any agreement of such kind becomes null and void if the piece is altered more than 40...or was it 60%... = )

c1rcle ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 10:26 AM

I would have said more earlier but I'm trying to fight a nasty virus right now, this is the only time I wish it was a computer virus, I'm off back to bed. :-( Rob

*"I learned in an art class, at my local state college, that any agreement of such kind becomes null and void if the piece is altered more than 40...or was it 60%..."* Absolute bullshit. That's what you get for going to an art class to learn copyright law. Don't come in here advocating even mild forms of piracy. Why would you want to suggest that someone intentionally disregard the creator's wishes? That's just *rude.*

jchimim ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 1:56 PM

Uh, Jim... What happens with "pin-up's" boobs when you do a "point at?" maby a positive point-at on one, and a negaive point-at on the other would have them moving in opposite directions when the target was moved around. Just scientific curiosity, of course.

cainbrogan ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 3:48 PM

Why would anyone? That's what she said, we were held responsable for the information, and I took it to heart. I figure once this mile marker has been surpassed the name of the origional piece should be changed by the new developer. = )

saxon ( ) posted Wed, 22 May 2002 at 4:09 PM

Jim, did I read you right? One of the limitations of shockwave 3D is that morphs aren't supported but if you've replaced the morphs with boned joints that should work. Have you considered doing this with facial expressions...?

Jim: over the top?

Jim Burton ( ) posted Thu, 23 May 2002 at 10:35 AM

O.K, Gee, I didn't think anyone would want to see yet another one of my imfamous promotional pics, but let me see if I can model some tassels tonight & get 'em spinning! Oh, I did add some head parts too, a chin part, l & r ears and l & R eyelids, too. So now a Pin-up Faerie can wiggle her elf ears. To be honest, the breast parts are probably the most useful, though, but in all of them the overhead is minimal, there are no deltas for morphs, just the part joint parameters. The parts are all ghost parts, but as a child can move the parent they can work the mesh of their parent - this the breast part moves the collars, but it can't more the chest part. But as the Vickie & Steph breast is (mostly) collar mesh it works.

Jim Burton ( ) posted Thu, 23 May 2002 at 10:39 AM

read "can't MOVE the chest part" No, I don't know how they would work with point at, either!

saxon ( ) posted Thu, 23 May 2002 at 3:48 PM

Blimey Jim! I've just been blinded by science. Have any of your beta testers tried her in PPP's shockwave exporter...?

Demonstrating excellent muscle control, Pin-up Stephanie shows the tassels can be gotten to go around in different directions! I should have done more frames though, but I thought maybe "Eight is enough"! I'd also put the tassels in Freestuff, but as only the Pin-up has the right parts to do this... ;-)

cainbrogan ( ) posted Thu, 23 May 2002 at 8:14 PM

Wouwho! Any more of that clip you posted earlier? = )

bikermouse ( ) posted Fri, 24 May 2002 at 3:08 AM

Jim: Message671410.jpg woah she's not even moving her shoulders! that's control. is this html script-how'd you animate her here?

ronknights ( ) posted Fri, 24 May 2002 at 7:17 AM

Did anyone else notice her right eye was blinking too?! I didn't notice till the second visit. Hmm, whenever I see a "big-breasted woman," it's hard to look her in the eye. Message671422.jpg

Opps, I got one of the frames wrong, this is how it should have looked, go the bounce out... Demonstrating excellent muscle control, Pin-up Stephanie shows the tassels can be gotten to go around in different directions! And it turns out "Eight (frames) is enough, after all! I'd also put the tassels in Freestuff, but as only the Pin-up has the right parts to do this... ;-) It's an animated GIF, incidently, and I wondered how long it would take to notice the eye blink!

bikermouse ( ) posted Fri, 24 May 2002 at 5:34 PM

I noticed it right away.

c1rcle ( ) posted Sun, 26 May 2002 at 6:50 AM

who's eye was blinking? I couldn't look higher than the tassles :D Rob

Jim Burton ( ) posted Sun, 26 May 2002 at 12:31 PM

Incidently, aside from anything else, these are a test of CPU speed. I set the GIF for .03 (or something) seconds per frame, on my 400 Mhz Mac the tassles spin pretty slow, and stop every revolution, on my 1.4 Mhz AMD they are about 3 times as fast, no stopping, and if I scroll the messages so just part of the tassles show in Netscale 4.7 they spin very fast indead, about 150 RPM, full GIF I get about 60 RPM. Very intresting!

BellaMorte ( ) posted Sun, 26 May 2002 at 7:23 PM

Jim, my husband says if you upgrade to a 2000+ xp you might achieve a high enough rotational speed to effect take-off ;)

bikermouse ( ) posted Mon, 27 May 2002 at 2:25 PM

I get around 60 rpm consistantly. perhaps its IE6
