The figure's bend zones etc were designed to work within the original human figure. Expecting them to work way way outside their intended range is asking for trouble. In maths, extrapolation is the dragon, don't trust it. I learned that over donkey's years of working with students' experimental data and their overambitious ideas of what can be extracted from that data.
