what you can do on XP tho is to raise poser's priority with taskmanager once you have poser running and before you do anything with it, get task manager running and go to the processes tab, find the poser process and right click on it, at the bottom of the list you see set priority change the priority to above normal, don't go any higher than that or XP will start getting cranky.
