I know that the majority of the artists here are male and come from varying age brackets. And I know that you like to play with Posette. I don't blame you! She is pretty, and she has SO many accessories and clothes, ect. There are a few female artists, I for one. I'd like to play with Pretty Boyz. My age nitche and time was the 80's Glam Metal. Lots of pretty young guys in costumes and make up and lots, and lots of HAIR (hair spray companies made a bundle off these bands!). I want to make Poser figures from this time period. This is why I've been asking and asking for more male oriented clothing and accessories. Sorry, I can't model (don't have the money frankly, or the time) but I am learning how to do textures and I will contribute to our community in that way. Please, help me out here. Help me make my fantasies come true!!!!!!

Actually, or at least it seems to me, that there is an unusually large percentage of female contributors in this forum. If I had to guess, based on contributions and not total membership, I'd say at least a third of the posts come from women. Am I off base?

This may be true, but there is a terrible scarcity of stuff for the male poser figure. I think more of us of the female persuasion would play with the male figure if there was more stuff. This is the point of my post. Sure, Posette is pretty, and I'm using her to make my namesake character, Dreamspinner, but I'd love to make poser characters of my favorite guys!

Well I'm a guy, probably older than you but I too liked the glam rock (and metal) of the '80s (Def Leppard, Winger, Motley Crue, Slaughter, just to name a few). I'd like to see some of this too but I don't have the skills to model or create characters......this would be cool..... Krel

Ah, fellow Glamster! I like all those bands. Motley is my favorite, but I liked Winger, Cinderella, WASP, Dokken, Skid Row, Slaughter, the Nelson twins, Europe....you can talk to me anytime! Bet you liked Doro, Joan Jet, Lita Ford. Got to meet Doro backstage once here in Dallas! Got to meet Blackie Lawless of WASP, all of Cinderella, and the members of the Japanese band EZO.

The only thing needed to do virtualy all the costumes in this image is a male catsuit...with a Trans Map for the holes. The textures would be the TOUGH part! In lew of that, you could just paint them on the figure texture. Fox

Rather have meshes. Mick is the one on the left. I think I could do his costume with some of the existing stuff. Take a t-shirt and somehow make it black and shiny. I've got a simple belt 3ds that I could use for the straps and maybe make a texture to make it look like the studs. The waist belt would be an enlarged belt with texture map, but the cod peice thiny, would be hard unless someone made it for me. I think it's possible, but would take a lot of work. Something for me to shoot for.

That's all possible without too much modeling. The tee shirt should work...put the textures right on it..including the blue belts. The wide belt is easy to do by stretching an existing mesh. (is this my job? ..ehhe) The blue belts over the pants may have to be done on the pants texture...they would be a job to do as a mesh as they would have to be posable. There must be some tight pants for the male around somewhere. Seems the boots could be done with a morph on an existing pair of boots. Again, textures, textures, textures..this is where they come to life and let "lesser" meshes work! Fox
