Could you windows PC users enlighten me on something??
First I am very happy that Apple has FINALLY built US MAC users a modern operating system(OSX)
we Now have Protected memory
Dynamic memory allocation
pre-emptive multitasking
and root level access to the core of our OS
for experienced unix users.
Now I also own an OLD PC that i found abandoned
in the trash and rebuilt it from spare parts
and I am now running windows NT4 servicepack 6
on this old 133mhz pentium I.!!!!! :-/
My understanding is that NT, win2000, and XP
ALL have those modern stabilty features that Apple has
FINALLY adopted with OSX
Other than an irrational" follow the heard"
Hatred of its billionaire Owner,(Gates),
why do so many PC people hate windows?????
I really like NT4 and find it rock solid
and XP looks very attractive if i ever get a new modern second PC.
