I usually don't change the settings on export at all. When you're finished, you need to export the object and the image map from UVMapper. You should have two files "name.obj_UV.obj" and "name.obj_UV.PICT". You'll have to import the object "name.obj_UV.obj" into poser--this will be the wavefront object you will create your prop file (.pp2) from. Next, try applying the texture template "name.obj_UV.PICT" to the imported object. If all goes well, you should see the template grid mapped to the object. Since you're creating .obj files in Amorphium, I suspect the props are rather organic looking--which makes them a bitch to texture, even with a template. I've been struggling with texturing hairstyles for months (straight texturing, without using the trans map method) and have had miserable results. Regardless of how I do it, parts of the objects seem to bunch up and look muddy. Logically, for the hair, it seems you should be able to get the same results from straight texturing as you would from transmapping (Aller's transmapped curls excluded) since the background is not visible through most of the transmapped hairstyles I've seen. It appears that Kozoburo is getting similar results with non transmapped hair these days, so it appears that it can (and is) being done. I'd love to realistically map some of the nicer hairstyles I've created, but I don't have the patience for it and I'm looking for a magic secret that will take most of the work out of it.
