So, I downloaded the texture template and started working. Up above is the result (so far). On the right is part of the texture map I made, and on the left is the rendered version. Any idea why her skin isn't the right color, or her eyebrows haven't changed? Mucho thanks, Jenna

I would guess that you have a colour applied in the "object colour" in the materials editor that is why the face is flesh colour. Also in the materials editor click on Material (Top right) and select "Upper Eyebrows" set "transparerncy max" to 100 Percent. This should solve the eye brow problem

The other way to solve the eye brow problem is to select the head and set the "brows gone" dial to 1

looks to me like you have all the colours on default, you need to have all object colours set to white, then you'll see your texture in all it's glory, check in freestuff, I'm sure there's a set of poses that do it for you. Rob

Looking much better, thank you. However, the eyebrows still seem to not be working.. and is there anyway for me to simply get rid of the big bumps for the eyebrows? They're much bigger than the eyebrows I was planning on having..

Oops, silly me. I fixed the eyebrow problem (Keep It Free's above post) but the bumps are still there...

Have you applied a transparency map to the eyebrows? There are some in the Freestuff: do a search for 'Newt' (the creator) and files for Mike and Vicky should show up. Basically, it's a black and white file that tells Poser to paint the texture on where the white bits are, and leave the black bits invisible-- so you get the illusion of detailed hair when all that's there is a flat plane or bumpy brows. You'll need to make sure that the transparency map is applied to all the eyebrow and eyelashes parts in the Materials editor in Poser, and that they all have a texture map assigned. As _Keep_It_Free says, you can set the 'Brows Gone' morph to 1, that'll get rid of them, but with a transparency map they can actually help.
