Here's a thought: If a freestuff download has a particular requirement, just say so. Like this: Picnic Ants for Poser! (Requires Picnic by PiccyNic) Simple! Then the potential downloader can either say "got it", go get it, or say, "nah, no thanks". Nothing has to be separated or isolated, and you can see right up front what the requirements are.
