Hi, I'm pretty new to poser too, and found the whole vicki/victoria/steph/posette thing totally confusing at first. Vicki/Victoria, Stephanie, Michael, the 'Millennium Kids' & co are figures produced by a company called DAZ3d (find them at DAZ3D.com, and check out the on-line store.) They also have some great freebies. As a newbie, I was annoyed at the 'piecemeal' way they sell things - you buy one thing, then find it's pretty much useless unless you buy something extra - like, when you buy the Victoria figure, it doesn't even come with one default skin. I was really annoyed about that! Now, I can understand why they operate that way, I think... it cuts the size of the download, and you only buy exactly what you want. Though I still think it wouldn't have killed them to include even one default tex... But the models are so realistic that they make the P4 figures look like Barbie and Ken. (oh, by the way, the P4 female is 'Posette' and the male is 'Dork') And for the ultimate, get Vicki/Michael and check out the ultra realistic skin texs by Stefy Zampini available here in Renderosity - stunning. You do a render, and it's hard to believe you're looking at a bunch of binary data, not a real person... They're so realistic that they make the default Victoria and Michael look like Barbie and Ken! i hope this helps! (Check out the FAQ file here. There's some great stuff in it. I wasted some cash on 'The Poser 4 Handbook' and totally regret it. I was tearing my hair out looking for a simple piece of info, which neither the Poser manual nor the Handbook even mentioned. I found the answer in the FAQ here. Thanks guys!) John
