Sharen, Zbrush is great. Get the free, fully functional demo (no 30 day limit, you have just to ask for a new serial after the 30 day period). The only limit is export and import. I'm just a small beginner in it, learning curve is very hard and long. Have a look at the gothic armor, created entirely in Zbrush by aurick for DAZ3d HERE and the Evil armor, also by aurick for DAZ3d HERE I also created 2 morphs for Poser's Michael with it (Poser free stuff).
