I've heard Win2000 has some obscene system requirements. Something like minimum 166Mhz/64mb ram and 300Mhz and 128mb ram to get anywhere. This is from a Computer Currents review of the beta a few months ago: http://www.currents.net/magazine/national/1713/inet21713.html Most of us have those kinds of systems. But keep in mind that to get good performance out of your heavier apps like Poser, Carrara, MS Office, assorted 3D games, and so on... you're going to need to be enough above that to still run well... The way I see it; while my 500mhz/256 ram is great at running Poser and Carrara on Win98 it'll lose a good half of that on win2000 meaning I'd need a 750Mhz/384 ram to match what I have now.
