To fix the Poser Lockup, there's a few things you could try. Run scandisk (assuming you're on Win, not Mac), to make sure it's not just a corrupt file that's causing it. Use Yarp's excellent P3dO to reorganize and condense your Library Folders. It's more likely too many folders than too many files, as Poser only looks at the contents of some folders. Try to get the total folders down to under 200 folders per library category if possible. There's also a commercial product in the Renderosity Marketplace that's designed to "swap in" sets of library folders at need. Hogwarden's PBoost utility is a great buy, but be sure to run his compatibility test program to make sure it will run on your system, first. If Poser still locks up, try re-installing it into a new location, and then copy in your folders a few at a time, until the problem recurs (in case it's a corrupt program file). Good luck with it!
