I mean $3000 for a dual 1ghz? A Pentium 2.2 ghz is about $1500.. yaa seems like a big diff... but look at what yopu are getting ... #1 It apple.. good stuff.. (even better since the bought out power computing's hardware designs/factory etc) #2 larger/faster hard drive... #3 NiVidia GeForce 4 standard... not some 16 meg cheapy out dated video card #4 512 Megs ram (when you buy at most places they give you it free) not 128 #5 SUPER DRIVE.. not just a a CDRW #6 faster/more ethernet, USB,firewire ports #7and all important... STABLE!!! OSX!!!!! not crashes!! (though i have had Maya PLE take mine down a few times... nothing else has) yes i'm a Mac person.. I use PC, Macs, Linux fairly regular. I will always use a Mac when ever posible!! they are worth the extra $$$$ now more than ever, the time i save by not rebooting like windows and mac OS9 does is worth it. I like linux... but don't want to learn another language, I have a hard enough time with english.... LOL ok all done, ranting and raving LOLOL
