I'm senior associate at a small firm in Arizona and hope to do just that, put on a re-enactment of a crime scene. Some day maybe. Unfortunately for Poser, 99% of my cases end in a plea acceptance or dismissal. Nationwide, over 95% of criminal cases do end in plea offers. Civil cases, especially personal injury, might lend to this kind of work. The problem is getting a court to allow a computer generated re-creation to be shown. There's lots of objections to that kind of work and it has to be dead cold perfect on the sequence of events. Its more likely that such a thing would show up on TV than in a courtroom, although more and more courts are open to modern technology.
