The Philadelphia Zoo used to have this gorilla named Massa, who lived to the ripe old age of 55, perhaps the oldest gorilla known. I remember seeing him sitting in his tiny cage, quite human looking. They say the obituary writer on the local paper waited for years for him to die, so he could write the line- "Massa's in De Cold Ground"
