(answers) LittleD: Thank you very much! mikes: Exactly the type of suggestion I was hoping for aleks: At present it subdivides everything you give it, but you could do what you want if you gave it just the knee and/or elbow areas. You would need to feel comfortable using the grouping tool to select out just those areas, but I've done some similar things for other projects. It is at the top of the list for version II of the program though, and on my personal list as well :), so at the moment it's mostly a question of deciding which of the several possible approaches to selective subdivision that I want to use/start with. biker: I ment 'existing' morphs :) but since you seem to have some company, it goes on the list :) staale: Well, the wrinkle/crowsfeet type of selective subdivisions fall under the Pixar patent I believe, so don't want to muddy those water's right off the bat with version I. Even then, a decent portion of it is handled by the render engine rather than in the model, so for most mid-range systems bump maps do a decent job. The types of morphs I'm looking for are the larger bone structures like ribs, patella and olecranon (elbow) leg with patella http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=92668 arm muscles http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=92066 ribs http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=95916 http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=95918 c1rcle: see, your vote DOES count :) It won't do a thing for moving millenium morphs across - the layouts of the models are very different and making a higher-res version of Posette won't really help to decrease those differences. Thanks so much for all the comments and suggestions. Guess I better go buy a new ink cartridge :)
