I've pretty much come to the same conclusion -either a scam, or illegal, or both. There was a similar thread in the newsgroups, saying pretty much the same things. I did click on the link (expect I'll get a LOT more SPAM over next few weeks). And they were asking for credit card number over what appeared to be an unsecure link. I don't give that out in any case. Whole thing appeared fishey. Not worth the worry for a few dollars. So far, only a form letter back from Adobe, with sales and marketing boilerplate.
