there's nothing wrong with the hair, it's just poser makes it hard to see when working with transparencies, the best thing to do is select the hair, click on display and choose either figure style or element style, then change the style to cartoon or cartoon with lines, it's not perfect but it's the best way to see what you're doing, the standard hair doesn't suffer because no transparencies.
