Well if you can afford the Bryce 5 upgrade which was $149 then you can surely afford the Windows XP Home Upgrade at $89. So I don't buy the logic behind it is too expensive. Also, many, many developers will eventually drop support for Win9x based platforms and focus on NT/2k/XP Based. So like it or not it is a reality of owning and using a computer.
