Martin's tools work beautifully. Be sure that what you are converting is a Poser file (.obj format), it doesn't handle Max files, for example. When you drop a typical folder on the icon, a pop-up window will display what it can do to help (like get rid of origin lines and convert the rsrs and do general cleanup). It will also tell you how many geometry or texture files are involved. One click and it's done. Then drop the folder onto MacInstaller. Another pop-up box will open. You can rename the item, and choose where things ought to be. You might want that suit of armor (for example) to be under Medieval, under the maker's name, under the name of the project, whatever. You can tell it where to look for textures. Use New or Source unless you've placed textures elsewhere already. The only thing really fussy is the geometry file, it has to go in a certain place specified in the code. Let it. Also remember that MacConverter automatically looks for seed files in thing which have been .pcf or otherwise encoded. (If the readme says you'll need Objaction Mover to open it, don't fret. OM is a PC applet and its functions have already been built into MacConverter.) Carolly
