Sascha, Hey, no need to apologize! I am thrilled you are willing to continue to help me debug this on Macs. It's pretty tough for me without physical access to a Mac. I still believe these are problems that can be solved. I guess my hope of changing directories up four levels to support folks that started OUT in the RML directory didn't work. Hmmm. Also, I am not clear yet why the "filetypes" option isn't supported on the python for mac but is on the windoze version. But, I will still prevail.
