I didn't catch whether this was P3 or P4 you acquired. If it's P3, I don't know for sure that a P4 character will even be compatible with it. You would be much better off getting a new copy of Poser 4 anyway, just because, as someone above pointed out, you may not have a complete copy of it there anyway. There may be files deleted and in that case you're missing a lot. I think some people are still able to find copies of P3 in bargain bins at the computer stores probably for a very cut price. See if you can find one and then get the upgrade to P4 when you've practiced and gotten comfortable with the way the program works. I think some people here are being a bit harsh with Wodie52. We shouldn't automatically assume that he is a thief and a jerk just because this program happened to be on the hard drive he bought (the previous owner should reformatted it before dumping the drive). It is illegal to use it, but he might not know that, and it's not fair to jump all over someone without knowing the facts. Let's give our Poser friends the benefit of the doubt and not condemn anyone without a fair chance. It would be nicer of us to gently remind new people of the way things are done and don't be so ready to hang someone so quickly. We're here to help not point fingers. Melanie
