Chuck, I want you to read my words and listen to me very closely. Your value to this community is not the total sum of the pictures you draw, or the goodies you give away. Your value to this community is comprised of who you are, what you say to others, and how you present yourself. It is based on your own personal worth and feelings of self-worth. Chuck, I first reached out to you when you posted a timid message about being a newbie. I encouraged you to speak up, show yourself, and continue to stay in touch. I know what it was like to come into this community, a total newbie, and feel so insignficant, stupid, etc. I remembered that most everyone here was very helpful and civil, even when I continued to be bewildered by even the simplest things. Many people still speak to me even though I've caught myself into some raging controversies. I've resolved that if I do nothing else, I want to reach out once and awhile and say "Hi, welcome to Renderosity." That's "giving back" in a small, but entirely significant way.
