Hey, you're a writer - that didn't happen overnight. Mastering everything in Poser simultaneously doesn't happen; you gotta set some priorities, and probably simplify and focus your goals. I don't know if you have any Photoshop or 2-D paint program experience - but many problems can be fixed much more easily with post-production touch-ups outside of Poser. Do you really need photorealism with elaborate details? Depending what look you're after, you might want to use Poser's sketch renderer or add Painter effects to the Poser images, in a style that fits the mood of your writing (and hides flaws).
