the cr2 only lists the materials in the uv coordinates for the obj file, the actual material mapping is in the obj itself. The cr2 is only poser pulling the materials off so it can load it into the material editor and shader. As far as partitions, there is no such partition, just different maps being used. Im still not clear on exactl what question you are asking. You have to assume we know little about the program you are referring too. Poser does not know that a texture maps to the body and not the entire figure. you have to tell it this when you assign the map to the material. As i stated, the materials are located on the object file when you uv map it. The materials being divided into skin head and skin body are the actual coordinates being assigned HEY, this material is the "skinhead" when te uv mapping is done. If you load the object into uvmapper, lithunwrap, or any or several uvmapping utilities, you can see exactly what materials are assigned to what coordinates, and reassign them yourself. Am I helping any? please, try to make it as simple as possible and explain exactly what it is you are looking for.
