I think after 9-11, we all saw that youse guys are capable of a lot more than your legendary rudeness (half of which I suspect is meant to impress the tourists :-) I believe you meant no harm and appreciate your explaining. It's easy for people to get the wrong impression with this impersonal medium. From now on, I'll imagine a Brooklyn accent and take a little of the old NYC brashness into account.
