I'm not sure source code is legally considered a concept. (though it is quite a concept, lol) In fact, I think that's why its usually encrypted and the resulting "soft" ware is usually copyrighted. I may know absolutely nothing about getting a patent or getting copyrights, but hey...the same forking principal applies.
