Paul - Thanks for the CarbonLib tip! Installing CarbonLib 1.0.4 fixed the problem. I searched the Apple knowledgebase for CarbonLib and NavigationLib, and got the right version of CarbonLib to work with OS 8.1 litst - Glad to hear that! I stopped using my Mac about 2 years ago, and bought a PC, because of PC apps exclusively using a parallel port dongle. There are now cross platform USB keys available, and my FormZ license is now being converted to this USB key, so I can swap it from my Mac to my PC. I hope the other software vendors will also do the same. Eric - I hope that Carrara 2 has overcome the upgrade card limitation. I can't afford a new Mac now, and the Sonnet G4 card bundled with 128Mb RAM was a great deal. I'll see how well this card works with Carrara in the near future. cristianr- I have 192Mb now - how much more would I need? The RAM for the older Macs is EXPENSIVE !!! Thank You All !!! Chris
