Hi Guitta, Yes, you have it correct. Eastern time is the Eastern seaboard of the United States. So N.Y. is Eastern time. Most of the United States goes on Daylight Savings Time in the spring and goes off Daylight Savings Time in the fall. There are a few states that do not use Daylight Savings Time (Arizona, Hawaii, and parts of Indiana (I think). When Daylight Savings Time goes into effect clocks 'spring' forward, and when Daylight Savings Time ends clocks 'fall' backward. So right now its 4:10 PM Arizona time and Pacific Time, 5:10 PM Mountain Time 6:10 PM Central time, and 7:10 PM ET (CNN news). I'm not sure of the relationship of Greenwich point time to time in the U.S.. Renderosity says that GMT is -6 which Arizona time (the same as Pacific time right now). I hope that helps. Charles
