I certainly appreciate the mentions on a couple of the lists above but there is one invalueable free item that has been overlooked until now... Steve Coxs' UV Mapper. Without it many of the freebies either wouldn't exist or certainly wouldn't be of the quality we see on a daily basis. To paraphrase an old BASF commercial... "It doesn't make the models, It makes them more detailed... It doesn't make the textures but it makes them possible to be more lifelike... It doesn't make the renders, it make the renders better."
