There are a handful of things, like terrains, for instance, that you can export to OBJ format. (At least in Bryce 4.) Things that are made out of Bryce primitives cannot be exported to OBJ format. I thought it was very strange that no one had a Bryce-to-OBJ converter, but the more I look into it, the more it makes sense. - Bryce files have a proprietary, undocumented format. - The format is, however, complex. (We infer this from all the different sorts of items Bryce stores in them.) - Bryce users tend to be amateurs or independents. They are less likely to have the financial backing of a studio, as 3DS Max or Maya users might. The fact that the format is undocumented and complex makes it unlikely that someone will write a shareware program in his free time to do the conversion. The fact that the community of users is not well-funded makes it unlikely that the commercial conversion people, like Right Hemisphere (Deep Exploration) or Okino (Poly-Trans), will be interested in the investment required to work out a deal with Corel to get the format specs, and then to fund the development of a convertor. They'd never recoup their investment. Just my opinion, and I could be wrong, but it makes enough sense to me for me to stop holding my breath, waiting for an OBP-to-OBJ convertor.
