Yes and no! In Poser you can make any body part invisable, easiest way is to click of the little eye for the part in the Hierical(sp) Editor. The downside, of course, is the mesh isn't solid, if you look down the inside of the figure through the cut-off area you see just a hollow shell, no insides! You can put parts from one figure on another too, as the manual sort of says, my mermaids use their own tail mesh and call Vickie (or SMV) for the top part, just an external reference. The downside here is unless the mesh matches perfectly (as I made my tail do) you will see a seam, as Poser can't properly weld the mismatched parts. If one part overlapped the other you might get away with it, though. The caption for the above should be "Bring me the head of...(the casual guy?)"
