Go to Start menu/ Folder Options. Click on the third tab (File Types) Scroll down till you find WinZip File and click on Edit. Make sure "Confirm open after download" is checked. That should fix it, had it happen to me many times and it was a hair-pulling experience at first :) Oh, and BTW, I'm on windows 98 so I'm not sure where folder options are if you're using XP or sth else.
