heyas; yeah, it would be a real pain. if the webbing that is between the first finger joints is part of the hand, then the fingers can affect it (my guess is, that's what valandar did in the sea beast). after that, you get into the problem where you can't weld the seams between siblings. you COULD try. there's a tutorial on my site about welding things that shouldn't be welded. it's called 'having illegitimate children in poser.' the only problem with this method is a potentially disasterous bug. but you can read up on it. :) look in the goodie section for tutorials.
