Probably a better place to look is not so much at the Writer of the "Sandman" comics as to look at the Artist. His site: The Art of Dave McKean is a tremendous source for inspiration. You might want to pop over to the "unofficial" site for the works of Dave McKean called DREAMLINE

Both sites will give a better idea as to what Gazghull is looking to accomplish.
