Hmm, the problem with any vampire story it inherit eroticism. Vampires by their very "nature" are symbols for the dark and forbidden side of sex. I was thinking along the lines of the old Hammer films or maybe a more recent film, "Embrace of A Vampire." I don't want the storyline one bedroom scene, action scene, sex scene somewhere other than the bedroom, action scene, etc, etc. I can write whatever all of you think is ok. Tone up or tone it down. But some guide lines or suggests would help. Changing the subject somewhat, I was thinking on the idea posted earlier about Victorian Fusion Atlanta. The technology of the world is a mishmash of old and new. The riots during and after the plague wiped out a good bit of the tech base. The rebuilding effort used what ever knowledge they could find or re create. I think that will be useful, because we can use the low tech aspects to create the dark gothic mood, and at the same time use high tech devices to keep the story line moving or create great visiual effects. What do you guys think? Think that the blending will be workable? I am working on the history and character sketches tonight, so any input will be very helpful. Thanks.
