Rocks like this are easy to create in Carrara! Just go into the vertex modeller, insert the default sphere, only with more polygons. Then pick the magnet tool and deform the sphere. Really easy, really fast. To get the variation form rock to rock (the three are identical duplicates) I applied Noise Deform (a plug-in included in the Carrara Power Pack).
