I'm a hobbyist ... I just happen to have 7 computers in my household. I'm also a computer geek (go figure) and gamer. To me it's not just for professionals ... it's basically for anyone who hates waiting for things to render ... which is pretty much everyone. Even if you only have one other computer, it makes a HUGE difference. This is especially true for those of us that use Poser exclusively for animations ... all three of us here on Renderosity. Network-rendering is more than a god-send, it's a requirement. Poser will be the only heavily used graphics-rendering app I own, besides Illusion, not to support network rendering ... and THAT will be a bloody shame. :(
