You know me, you've talked with me before. I'm not a caustic person, or rude, but I am up front, and I speak what's on my mind. So I have to ask this question:

What's the purpose behind this?

I downloaded and looked at your 'texture'. Quite honestly, it has no practical value. In fact, it's quite IMpractical to use. You've plastered two areas of fleshtone onto the template for the mannekin. Not to be insulting, but big deal. Anyone with Windows Paint could accomplish the same thing in approximately 15-30 seconds. In Poser itself, the same result can be achieved with Object Color, in LESS time, and with LESS memory overhead (no texture to load at all). So again, I have to ask:

What's the purpose behind this?

You announce this as your first texture. As any texture artist will tell you, that involves work. This is not work. There was no effort put forth in the creation of this. As a struggling texture artist, I'm somewhat insulted. My first texture hasn't seen the light of day yet, and I've been working on it for 3-4 months. You throw this out, which took you 3-4 minutes, including zipping and uploading. You are, intentionally or not, spitting in the collective faces of artists like Blackhearted, Kromekat, Dalinise, and many others, who put real time and real effort into their work. So again, I have to ask:

What's the purpose behind this?

I've looked over your tutorials, and some of the other items on your site. Your tutorials are actually pretty good...so I know you have at least some clue. And yet you come in with something like this, and expect what? Congratulations? You've done nothing to warrant them. Accolades? Again, you've done nothing to earn them with this. Laughs? Well, I didn't find it funny...someone else might.

Ron, I've watched you create thread after thread, and jump in on others. I've seen all the gripes, complaints, and flames hot enough to melt silicon that involve you and your actions here, and on other sites.

What are you trying to achieve? Attention? Some sense of purpose? What?

You make good tutorials, Ron...stick to it. Make more. But please, don't waste our time with things like this. All you end up doing is aggravating people, whether you mean to or not. If you're going to make a texture, make a texture. But put the same work into it that other texture artists do, if you want praise and admiration for it.
