Subject: texture on my DXF import file?

How do I get texture on my DXF import file? When appling tex. map all I get is the color.

You need to export it out of Poser as an object, then use UV mapper to map it, save the obj out of UV Mapper and the texture map. Take it into a program like Photoshop and do your texture. Marque

That's Right. Poser won't put a map on a DXF file because it has UV coordinants. As Marque says, you could use Poser as an exporter and then map it in AVMapper or there are lots of free converter progs out there on the net.

Well, UVMapper "Classic" is still free. For the Pro Version you need Money.($49.95) But in my opinion it is WORTH all the Money !!!!! Get the demo and see yourself. http://www.uvmapper.com/ I dont know any Program (for this Money) which gives the same Possibilities. The "realtime" (you have to hit F2 /F3 to see it in UVMapper;-) 3D Preview (for example) is a timesaving Option . And the teamwork with Photoshop is outstanding. (Hey I have already bought it and wouldnt get anything for my enthusiasm for it)
