Don't know if I understand correctly your question. But, if you transfer to 35mm, one frame at a time and it's done well, then you should not have any definition problem. Write an rditing script and make tests to determine the best size for each shot or sequence, in other words just plan your work well and get to know the equipment andor people who will do the transfer.
