Here's something else that might work for you. While the "Mobius Effect" is a post-process crossfade, there is really nothing to stop you from doing it pre-render also, and it's not terribly difficult. The image I'm demonstrating here is an animated gif of 5 frames that I rendered directly from P4, no post processing except to put together the GIF in ImageReady.

Unlike the Mobius effect, I did my crossfading entirely pre-Poser, so it's fully compatible with animation. I included the backdrop to prove that it's really transparently faded. I used only one figure to do this, it's all done in the texture and trans maps.
