No explanation, I hope you didn't overwrite the original (always a bad idea if you are text editing). Did you make sure that you saved it as a text file, rather than rtf or unicode type. One thing I have noticed is that Poser saves documents using UNIX style 'newline only' style text rather than in in DOS/Windows or MAC style text, although neither of these formats seem to cause any problems for the parser when a document is loaded.
