You have my sympathy. {hug} I used to live in Coarsegold (halfway between Fresno and Yosemite)... beautiful country. 4 years there, going up to Yosemite rather, ahem, frequently. :) 4 years before that in Visalia going up the Mineral King Road or to Sequoia just for the afternoon's hike. I'd go into the south of Yosemite quite frequently, too. Sigh. Next week I'll be in high country again. The fires which aren't natural will almost always be too close for comfort. Lightning strikes usually occur pretty far back, not next to some campground or a couple miles out of town. We'll hope to get through another summer.
