www.techsmith.com has a cool utility called SnagIt that is even more versatile. With SnagIt, you can capture a portion of the screen indicated by your mouse pointer, capture directly to file etc. It will also show pull-down menus and stuff in action, very helpful when showing a workflow in a tutorial.
