To sidestep a bit into a slightly more serious look at your question Jackson.... any answers you get on the past history, who did what, what happened and why, is going to be so subjective that it's almost meaningless. Everyone's memories of that stuff is going to be colored by their perceptions of it. You ask me, JeffH, Grey, Legume, Jack Kammerer, Tim, Draignwalk, Hawkfyre - anyone who lived through even part of all that history, and you'll get a dozen different interpretations, each from our own perspectives, and colored by our likes and dislikes and what we saw as important at the time. And... Each and evryone of those accounts will be RIGHT - from our memories of things. That's what makes it tough to answer. The only way to get a real appraisal of it is to go back and browse everything you can find and make up your own interpretations. And - thanks to the closing of C&D, and the removal of those archives, you no longer have those options. You an all the latecomers are just kind of screwed on that account - anyone can say any interpretation they want, and there's no objective store of posts and info you can browse and draw your own conclusions from. And hey - I'm just as biased as anyone else. My perceptions are just as colored by what I saw as important to concentrate on as say, Rad's are. THAT is where the note of dissaproval you sensed comes from. I have a innate distaste of rewriting history and purging records... no matter what the reasons or the end results. I figure if it can be posted, someone should deal with it being read. heh... don't get me started. Tim, tammy and I have already had waaaaaayyyyy too many discussions on the subject. grin I'm sure they don't want a reiteration any more than I want to do one. snicker Past is dead, bury it. Let the old wolves who remember it fight it or deal with it if we choose to. Or not, if we choose to let it go. For any that weren't dragged into it then, it's best to concentrate on now... and on making new history.
