That way when switching OS's my settings from the previous session show up. It also saves on HD space. There are problems associated with using a non partitioned C drive, but they can be overcome. Firewire for the camcorder, usb for the digital camera. But the dream machine, aside from top end amd/ram, may be dual processor (almost built this one that way) and purely win2k. As soon as I'm done with home kernal type software, I'll ditch ME and stay only with w2k. We use xp pro at work on the workstations with w2k server. That's ok there. I don't want xp at home.
